DAY 01: ARRIVAL AT SRINAGAR TRANSFER TO SONAMARG KARGIL

Arrive at Srinagar Airport, meet our transporter and proceed to Sonamarg (also Known as meadow of gold). After spending sometime in Sonamarg, drive to Kargil via Zojila pass and Drass Valley. On the way catch the glimpses of famous Tiger Hill Tololing which played an important role in Kargil War. Kargil War Memorial will be another interesting place to cover enroute. Reach Kargil town and check into the hotel.

DAY 02: KARGIL TO LEH

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and hit the roads to Leh. We will make our way through Mulbek, Namika La, Fotula La, Lamayuru, Khaltse and uleytokpo. Highlights of the tour will be Alchi Monastery, Magnetic Hill and river rafting at Neemu (Sangam point of Indus and Zanskar river). Resume your trip to cover Gurudwara Pather Sahib and hall of fame museum enroute. Reach Leh and check into the hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel.

DAY 03: LEH LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast cover the spots in and around Leh. Major tourist attractions to cover will be Spituk Gompa, Sindhu Ghat, 3 idiot Rancho school, Druk Padma shey, Stok Palace and Central Asian Museum and Market. Return to hotel for Overnight stay.

DAY 04: LEH TO KHARDONG LA NUBRA VALLEY

Early Morning, check out from the hotel and head on to Nubra Valley. We will drive through the famous Khardong la Pass which is one of the highest motorable passes in the world situated at an altitude of 5359m. Other places to cover enroute will be Diskit & Hunder Villages. While visiting these villages do not forget to take a ride on Double hump Bactarian camels (ride on your own). Reach the destination and spend the night in pre-booked camps.

Day 05: NUBRA TO LEH RETURN

After delicious breakfast drive back to Leh while enroute covering Sumoor Gompa. This colourful gompa set in the midst of rough mountains and scanty trees makes the landscape even more picture perfect. Reach Leh and check into the hotel for dinner & overnight stay.

Day 06: LEH TO CHANG LA PASS PANGONG LAKE

After Breakfast, check out from the hotel and pass through one of the Highest Motorable road in the world, Changla Pass (5360 m) to reach Pangong Lake (4350 m). The clear water of this lake reflects sky color giving it a effect of changing colors from blue to turquoise, light pink and so on throughout the day & night. Another amazing fact about this lake is that it freezes completely during winters despite being saline. Overnight stay will be in Pangong camps.

Day 07: PANGONG TO LEH RETURN

Pack up your luggage and drive back to Leh. Enroute places to cover will be Hemis Monastery, Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace. Reach the town and spend a comfortable night stay in hotel.

Day 08: DEPARTURE IN LEH

Today is the day to say goodbye to the land of mysterious and fly back to your home. So after enjoying your breakfast check out from the hotel and get transferred to Leh Airport for onwards journey.
